choir day !

Suite à des réclamations je me lance dans le blog bilingue !
Now I start translating my posts into English !

Aujourd'hui c'était journée chorale : répétition à 10h à la fac, et concert à 12h30 puis 14h30 au apberget (= montagne à singes !) qui n'est autre qu'une place du centre-ville, personne n'a l'air de connaître l'origine de cette appellation pour le moins étrange... Le centre-ville était animé pour fêter le début de l'avent avec une semaine d'avance, hormis les chorales il y avait un mini marché de noël et tous les magasins étaient ouverts toute la journée.

This Sunday was a choir day : practice at 10 am at the university, and public concerts at 12.30 and 2.30 pm at the "monkey mountain", which is a famous square of the city centre (apberget in Swedish). Nobody (not any Swede) seems to know the meaning of this quite strange name... The city centre was animated today to celebrate the beginning of the Advent, one week in advance, there was a small christmas market and the shops were opened all day long.
